Google has started to deliver the January 2023 update for Pixel phones,
which also includes the January 2023 Android security patch.
The update will be sent out to Pixel smartphones running
Android 13 over the following weeks. Users will be notified when the
OTA update is available for Pixel smartphones that are compatible.
The Pixel phones may now deliver surround sound with the aid of any
authorized accessories owing to the inclusion of Spatial Audio
compatibility in this version. Additionally, this release includes a few
additional general fixes.
The January 2023 update for Pixel devices has begun to be released, according to a statement from Google on Wednesday. Thanks to this fifth Google Update 2023, spatial audio is now supported on the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro. Devices that support Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) audio are said to be the only ones that can provide spatial audio. The issue that was "preventing some Bluetooth Low Energy devices or accessories from pairing or reconnecting" has been fixed by Google with this release. The issue that prohibited some headphones from playing audio has also been resolved.
